Concealed Weapons Permits

We provide services for you to obtain a Concealed Weapons Permit.  The State of North Dakota, Chief of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation is responsible for issuing Concealed Weapons Permits.  Their Web Site has information on reciprocity with other States, Concealed Weapons Permit Test Administrators, Who can Obtain Concealed Weapons Permits, restrictions etc.

PROCEDURES FOR OBTAINING A CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT:

  1. Obtain an application from the Sheriff's Department or Concealed Weapons Permit Test Administrator.
  2. Pass the test given by Concealed Weapons Permit Test Administrator. (Check with Administrator about Fee amounts)
  3. Bring all the paperwork to the Sheriff's Office for other processing. ($25.00 fee)
  4. Submit all paperwork to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation for further background checks, processing, and issued of permit. ($25.00 Check or Money Order payable to the North Dakota Attorney General)

NOTE:

Fingerprint and Photograph services for Concealed Weapons Permits are by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Call us at 701-780-8280 to make an appointment.
